The Seed Hawk air drill provides the most precise seeding technology on the market. Delivering unmatched seed and fertilizer placement in one pass, it is perfect for all soil conditions. The Seed Hawk Air Drill comes in widths ranging from 40’ (12.2 m) to 84’ (25.6 m). Seed Hawk Air Drills can be configurated for 10” (254 mm) or 12” (305 mm) row spacing.

Placing seeds in firm, moist soil enables roots to quickly access moisture and nutrients, promoting strong growth.

Each opener assembly follows the ground independently by pivoting at the frame, controlled by its own adjustable hydraulic cylinder. A range of seed and fertilizer knives are available to suit every seeding style.

Seed Hawk 40-84 models come in 5- or 7-plex frame sections, allowing them to follow the contours of the land independently by pivoting at the frame. With a contour-following range of 18” (46 cm), the independent openers deliver consistent seed depth, regardless of the terrain. By controlling each row individually, each seed is granted the same optimal conditions for growth. Consistent contour-following ability is crucial in no-till operations where variable field conditions are present. The Seed Hawk opener excels in this area.

Sectional control, combined with an independent GPS system, eliminates overlap, saves input costs, and reduces ground disturbance. It controls meters and openers to stop product flow and lift openers on previously seeded ground, preserving precision placement. SCTx with Turn Compensation features an additional GPS receiver on the tractor for enhanced capabilities. This allows for more complex manoeuvres and precise control of air drill operations. *SCTx is designed to complement units comprised of a Seed Hawk Air Seeder and a Precision Delivery Air Cart pairing. Additional components or pivot points between the tractor and the seeding unit are not supported and can alter the effectiveness of SCtx.
