The E42D is powered by a 43.3 hp (32.3 kW) Stage V-certified FPT engine, known for durability, low emissions and fuel-saving features like Eco Mode, auto idle and a reversible cooling fan to keep radiators clear and engines running at optimal temperatures.

Specify your D Series compact excavator with the arm length to best suit your requirements. Length on the E42D standard digging arm measures up to 4 ft 7 in (1.4 m) and 5 ft 5 in (1.65 m) with the long arm.

The standard arm on the E42D provides a maximum 12 ft 0 in (3660 mm) of dump height and 9667 lbf (43 kN) in bucket breakout force.

The E42D includes a tipping cab/canopy for full engine access, as well as three large side and rear panels that offer fast access to key service points.
