The new FD2 PLUS takes MacDon’s leading FlexDraper® platform to the next level. Starting with MacDon’s proven flex-wing design and adding over 2 inches of extra flex at the cutterbar, the FD2 PLUS follows the ground effortlessly – hugging tighter, cutting closer and capturing more crop to help support your most productive harvest. The FD2 PLUS helps increase efficiency, save time and optimize overall harvesting performance even in the toughest, most irregular field conditions.

MacDon’s legendary ground-following capability continues with the FD2. With more flex, capacity and speed than its predecessor, the FD2 series is ready to tackle your most challenging harvest.

The FD2 offers optimal cutterbar flexibility, following the field’s contours for a clean, close cut. MacDon’s Active Float System supports up to 97% of the header’s weight, enabling the FD2 to float easily over ground fluctuations. Plus, with an increased flex of up to 70%, the FD2 equips you for optimal harvesting performance.

A floating three-section flexible header, the FD2 features a fixed reel-to-cutterbar relationship – even at extreme flex – for smooth, consistent heads-first feeding. With up to 17 inches of flex on either end, the FD2 maintains a close reel-to-cutterbar relationship to capture crop over the entire length of the header.
